Another Egg Hunt!

Thursday afternoon we were invited to Burton Building Products where Kris used to work for an Easter Egg Hunt! They were so sweet to invite the kids! It was a lot of fun!

Some of the kiddos that were there

Lincoln was crawling through the bushes to get to the eggs!

Hannah enjoyed this egg hunt a lot more than the previous one! She knew just want to do this time! I think she really enjoyed having Lincoln around!

Searching hard!

Lincoln's favorite part by far was eating all the candy. I don't know how much he ate! He just sat right down and got to it as soon as he could.

They had a pinata!

Ms. Susan was the last to go and hit all the candy out!

Doing the bunny dance!

Fun times! The kids really had a blast!

Hannah's Preschool Easter Party & Egg Hunt

Thursday Hannah's preschool had their Easter Party. They decorated cupcakes! Hannah seemed to enjoy the decorating although I don't think she ate the cupcake. She's not a huge cake fan. I think she just has to be in the mood or really, really hungry!

When it was time to go outside to hunt the eggs, Hannah seemed excited! This is her with her class!

All smiles...

Until the teacher said "Go!" I don't really know what happened except my guess is that she was overwhelmed and didn't really know what to do. She just immediately burst into tears and was saying that she couldn't find any eggs. She hadn't even started looking! Bless her heart! It took me quite a while to get her to calm down enough to actually go find some eggs.

Finally getting into it!

I had to put this picture on here. This little boy in Hannah's class is the one with "all the energy." I thought it was hilarious that he and Linc were making faces at each other! I was just imagining what Lincoln will be like when he goes to preschool! I think he may be the one with "all the energy" too!!!!

The Green Glob

AWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saying Good-bye

We had to do something very hard this past week--say good-bye to our best friends. It has been a tough week.

We had a little Going Away Party for them on Tuesday night.

I had to put this picture on here of Lincoln. We had the party in the Teen Room at church and it has some extra class rooms attached to it that we turned a movie on in and let the kids play. Someone told me to go and take a look at Lincoln. He was in the room pretty much all by himself, just staring up at the Scoobie Doo movie that was on. He was in his own little world. This boy loves tv!

All the girls with Jennifer.

Precious Sloane.

We will miss you guys so much! We wish you all the best in Memphis and look forward to seeing you soon!

We miss you already, Jennifer!!!!

We've had to resort to cutting our own hair (okay except for mine) since Jennifer is gone. Notice what Kris used to cover Lincoln up.

It didn't keep the hair from itching his little nose.

Oh girl! I have sooooo much more respect for what you do after trying to cut Hannah's hair by myself for the first time!!!! I was so nervous about half-way through it! It came out alright, but I'm not sure if I'll do it again. We miss you already, Jennifer!!!!

Lots of pictures of what we've been doing lately

These are random pictures of what we have been up to lately.

We went to the indoor play gym at the Rock Creek Church with some of our friends. It is free and a great rainy, cold day place to go! The kids really enjoyed it!

Hannah and Emma stomping on the mats.

Eric & Linc climbing the stairs. Lincoln loved this part!
See....

The kids and I painted one morning last week.

Lincoln liked it until he started getting paint on himself. That threw him. He just does not like to get stuff all over him. It is hilarious! His picture came out pretty cool!

Lincoln, Jack, & Hannah getting a bath together.

The other night at LIFE Group, we were trying to get a group picture of all the kids. Wasn't going so well...

Poor Jack!
Poor Jackson! Benson was just enjoying himself--playing with Jack's hair!

All of them in the picture--finally! Benson looks like he's giving Jack bunny ears! Ha!

They all brought these boxes into the living room and proceeded to make a train!

We have been trying to get in as much baby Sloane holding as possible! Lincoln LOVES Sloane! He had to hold her every time he saw her. He was actually very good with her, very gentle. He'd just pat her cheeks and smile and say "Swoan". So cute!

Of course, Hannah loved her too! So sweet!

Way to go Kris!!

Kris has been working on his MBA for the last year and a half now. He will finish in December! Yippee!! So far, he has all A's! He recently got inducted into Alpha Chi Honor Society and Delta Mu Delta, a business honor society. I am so proud of him! I don't know how he juggles all that he does.

These pictures were taken at the Alpha Chi Induction. I forgot my camera at the other one. It was actually a nice sit-down dinner.

Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you!
