Camp Tahkodah 2014

Hannah went to Camp Tahkodah again in mid-July.  Kenzie and Emma went too.  We met up with the Dyniewski's and Stephens in Bald Knob for lunch that Sunday.  Hannah and Emma were so excited to see each other after a whole year and picked right back up.  It was great getting to catch up with the Dyniewski's as well!

We got there early enough this year to take some pictures and get in line at the gate.

BFFs

All the counselors come out to welcome the campers.  It is a mad dash when the gate opens to find your cabin and pick your bunk.  It is kind of crazy.

The girls all got top bunks next to each other and were so happy!

Friends.  Me, Stacey, and Amanda.

Hannah did not want us to stay for her swim test this year.  She is getting so big.  Sniff sniff.  This was Kris whispering a few words of wisdom before we left.

My beautiful Hannah.

We let Hannah take one of our cameras again this year.  The next batch of pictures are ones that she took.  I love seeing camp through Hannah's eyes!

I asked her if she was asleep here and she said no.  Silly girl.

Her Bun-Bun.

This was her Bible Bee Manual.  The theme of camp this year was Defying Gravity.

Hannah took quite a few selfies.  I guess I shouldn't be surprised with our world today.  They crack me up.  I love seeing her happy face.

One day they took a hike.  She took a lot of pictures while on it.

These are the girls from her cabin.  She had some crazy, fun girls in her cabin this year.  Here they have painted their faces with chocolate and are holding candy.  What?!

This girl was like the class clown of the cabin.  She would do all kinds of crazy animal impressions and had all the girls laughing hysterically all the time.  I have seen multiple videos of this girl doing her impression of a mad flamingo.  Silly, silly.  Apparently everybody loved it.

They had a devo and dinner around a camp fire one night.

Hannah with two counselors, not hers though.  I guess we didn't get one with her counselors.

This monkey was hanging from the rafters in the cabin.  They were silly I tell ya.

We missed her around here while she was gone, even the boys.  Lincoln asked me several times when Hannah was going to be back.  It was good to see her sweet face.

Camp always wipes Hannah out.  It usually takes her a few days to get back to normal.  But she loves it and is already talking about next year.  We may have to take out a loan next year to send two kids!  Guess it'd be worth it.
