Other October Stuff

I always have lots of random pictures throughout the month that I lump into one post.

Hannah is definitely in the selfie phase right now and I have found lots of these silly pictures on my phone lately.

This poor thing was so exhausted one Sunday afternoon.  I had been gone during the afternoon and met everyone else at Life Group that evening.  This is how I found Ledger--napping on the floor.  Sunday's are really hard some weeks and so busy that I guess he just had to nap when and where he could.  Poor baby.

I take lots of pictures of him with his books because I love them so much.

The hat reminds me so much of Lincoln.  Lincoln is our hat lover.  Ledger just made me smile when I saw him in there with the hat on.

Playing at the library for a bit.

He loves the step in the pantry and just has the best time stepping up and down over and over again.  I guess it is good practice for him!

I have been attending Ladies Bible Class at church on Tuesday mornings.  We recently did a service project at the Arkansas Food Bank.  We packed these gift boxes that they sell to businesses to be used as employee gifts during the holidays.  They use the proceeds to buy more food to feed the needy.

Then, we went into the big warehouse and put labels on canned food.

Lincoln was wrestling with Ledger.  Ledger loves it--for the most part. ;-)

I love my new Heartfelt group.  We haven't taken a group picture yet, but I did take one of the treats we made at our October meeting.  They were yummy.  The moms in my group are awesome.  The food has been fantastic.  I am enjoying getting to know ladies that I didn't know before.

I wanted to get a good picture of Layton with his two front teeth missing.  He is getting so big.

I walked into the kitchen for something and heard Ledger saying a prayer at the table one night.  It was after we were done, and it was sooooo precious!

It's the moon!

My littlest buddy with a boo boo on his nose.

Layton needs him some selfies with Mom sometimes too.

I read this book and LOVED it!  I think Chip and Joanna are the neatest people. I love their style and what they stand for.

Ledger has some big shoes/boots to fill.

I sure do love spending my days with this little fella!!!

Halloween 2017

We started our Halloween fun with the Kiddie Karnival at the Elementary.

At some point when Kris was doing Ledger's hair one day, he made the comment that it looked like Jack Jack from the Incredibles movie. That gave us the idea for his Halloween costume.

Oh my goodness, he looked so cute.

Layton picked his costume out at Rhea Lana a while back.

Lincoln wanted to be something from a horror movie, and we knew that wouldn't work for the church kiddie karnival that he was going to be helping with.  So, he had to pick something else.  He decided on this pizza slice which fit him perfectly I thought.  He loves pizza.

Hannah had a band Halloween party that night too so she made her a costume for it.  It turned out super cute and best of all, it was easy and inexpensive.

Always pointing at the moon when he sees it.

Next up was PV's Kiddie Karnival.  Our City Life Tweens help with this each year.  This year Lincoln and Hannah both got to help.  Lincoln and Jack had the basketball booth.  Jack was dressed up as a taco.  They didn't plan this so it was really funny that they were both food.

Hannah really wanted to be a gumball machine for this one, so she made the shirt herself.

Trunk or Treat.

Our friend, Amy, and her friend have a puppet show business.  They sing and do puppets.  They are pretty good and had a little show for the little kids.

Hannah and Katelynn.

Family picture.

Just two foodies.  Ha!

And finally, it was time to actually trick or treat.  Hannah went with our neighbors down the street to another big neighborhood like she did last year.

There's the moon again!

The boys trick or treating at Ms. Nita's next door.
