Catching up on August and September

Well, now that we are almost through with October, I guess I better catch up on August and September.  Life has been busy lately.  School is in full swing and there just hasn't been the time to blog like I wish.  This blog is so important to me.  It helps me keep up with life in a way and not forget things.  So, I am hoping to get back into it.

This is just a random picture of Hannah and her friend, Madison, at one of Lincoln's tennis practices.  Madison and her family have lived right down the street from us since we moved here.  Hannah has just found the best friend in Madison.  They love the same things and play together so so well.  They both love American Girl and have enjoyed playing together in each other's rooms for hours.  Madison's family recently moved across town and we are so sad about that.  I don't think they will lose their friendship though especially while they are both so into American Girl.  Sweet sweet friends.

Layton and I eating lunch with Hannah one day at school.

I have said it before, but I love to look at the walls by the kids' classrooms and see the fun artwork or writings that they do.  This was Lincoln's self portrait I think--with shades.  Love it!

This pic may have been taken on the first day of school.  It was hanging outside his classroom.

Lincoln and Jack went to a Scottie Thurman basketball camp one Saturday morning in August.  It was kind of cool to get to see a former pretty well known Razorback basketball player.  I remember watching him while he played for Arkansas years ago.

Layton and Pappaw playing catch during a visit from Mimi and Pappaw.

Lincoln and Jack one evening on our way to tennis practice.  I love them.

Kris and I enjoyed getting to go see Pentatonix and Kelly Clarkson in concert with our friends, the Dockerys.  They were both SO good!  Unbelievable singers.

We get so tickled at ourselves when we try to take selfies.  Ha!

Love my friend, Sara.

Well, that does it for August and September!
