Easter Weekend

For Easter weekend we went to Kansas City.  Because the kids had Good Friday off, we got to leave Thursday night.  Here are just all the random pics I took of our visit.

That first morning at breakfast Hannah was showing Grandma and Grandad her "Cup Song".  She is doing it in the talent show at school next week.  :-)

Grandma let the boys get into their Easter baskets a little bit early.

Playing dominoes.  I would not be able to begin to guess how many hours of card/game playing this table has seen over the years.  Lots and lots!

On Saturday Kurt, Alexis, Isabel, and Addison came out to the house.  It was fun seeing Addsion walk around and actually say a few words.  She is such a cutie!!

Now it was the girls' turn to check their Easter baskets out.

Grandma went through her jewelry and let the girls take turns picking out pieces.  This is right up these girls' alley.

I believe this is a ring that Roena said her mother made.  Special!!

All her jewelry from Grandma.

They love to play dress up.  I guess at some point Isabel and Hannah got into Grandma's slips and things and dressed up like brides.  Wish I had a picture of them!

The kids each had a section outside where they were to go hunt for a couple of candy filled eggs.

Addison checking out Dash.

I was just playing around with my camera shooting this little poser.

Love seeing his concentration.  This dude has one creative, engineering mind!!

Making words with Cheez-Its.

The Easter Bunny came Easter morning.

Hannah is a reading machine.  She is really into Geronimo Stilton and Thea Stilton books right now.

Lincoln is really into Stink books.  He read a total of 3 that weekend.  I love how he is FINALLY getting into reading.

A pack of gum.  Love the excited smile.  Sometimes it's just the little things.
