Ledger at 4 months

At 4 months Ledger weighed 19 lbs 1 oz and was 26.4 inches tall.  I believe these were in the upper 90th %.  He is such a big boy.  It is crazy.  At his check-up, Dr. Byrum said he was a little bit overweight but it was nothing to be worried about.  He will slim up once he starts moving.  He also treated him for a little bit of impetigo.  Lincoln and Layton have both had staff infections.  We think Lincoln got it from church camp.  That is basically what impetigo is and Ledger just had one tiny spot that looked suspicious so the doctor had me treat him.

At the end of this month we went up to a size 3 diaper.  He is still wearing a few 6 months clothes as well as 6-9 months stuff.  He eats every 3 1/2 hours and will sometimes go 4.  He is still sleeping well at night usually from around 9:00 to 5:30 a.m.  I wake him up at 5:30 to eat so that I can get my day started.  I put him back down after he eats and he will sleep till I get him up to take the kids to school around 7:15.  He always wakes up happy.  He is taking several naps a day many times in the car as we go somewhere.

His hands are still constantly in his mouth.  He is getting better at holding his toys.

He gets so excited when I read to him.  He seems to really like to be read to which I love and I hope continues!  He loves to be sung to as well.

Ledger still hasn't rolled over yet.

He is really losing his hair.

He really likes his jumper and I can tell it is helping to strengthen his back.

He goes with me to work out at my Moms on the Move class.  He just sits in his car seat and hangs out or plays while I exercise.  He is so good.  I am trying to wait as long as I can to put him in the childcare to save money, but also just so he isn't as exposed to sickness.  It is working out great so far.  My only gripe is that he likes to poop while he is sitting there and many times it comes out the top of his diaper and makes a huge mess!

Ledger loves his brothers and sister and just lights up when he sees them.

He loves to laugh and just about the only time he fusses is when he can't get fed fast enough.

He just couldn't be more precious.
