Ledger at 22 months

What a fun, fun age we are at!  22 months!  Almost 2!

Ledger is talking up a storm!  He says "No stop" when you tell him no.  He still knows all his animal sounds.  The way he says cockadoodledoo is so cute!  Kris has taught him to say "I love you Daddy." and they have this little ritual they go through every night before bed where he gets him to say it.  I guess this was really his first full sentence.  He has also learned words like "booty"and "poop" thanks to his siblings.

Ledger can point to and say eyes, nose, ears, mouth, teeth, tongue, cheeks, eye lashes, eye balls, elbow, knees, fingers, hand, belly, leg, toes, feet, hair, and booty.

He still loves Ms. Amy and gets so excited to see her on Tuesday mornings or whenever we see her.  He says "Abby" when he sees Abby too.  He started saying "Hannah" which she just loves!  When you ask him who Lincoln or Layton is, he says "Bubba."

He loves to talk about Mimi and Pappaw and "D Dad" and "Gam Maw" or "Mammaw."  He calls Jeff "Wes."  He will not say Jeff.

Our bedtime and nap time routine is still the same.  He is mostly down to one nap, but I will let him take a morning nap on occasion if he is especially cranky.

His favorite toys are still books.  He just loves to be read to.  He still calls them "doooos" which cracks me up.  He likes balls, cars, and trucks too.  He can make the vroom vroom sound for a truck.  It is so funny to me how little boys just know how to do this!  He still loves puzzles and is really good at them.  He says "puzzles" in a cute way.

Eating is just okay right now.  He is definitely getting more picky.  He knows what he likes and doesn't like and can let you know.  He doesn't seem to care for meat a lot right now, but loves most fruits and veggies.  He likes animal crackers, gold fish, trisket, and raisins and eats these are snacks.  He lets you know when he is done eating by pushing his food away and saying "done."  He still calls his milk or water "ba."

He calls me "mommy" now.  So funny!  He is more whiney and doesn't want to be alone.

He switched classes in the Nursery at church.  He is in the Baby Jesus class now and there are 2 couples that teach.  I don't know if having men as teachers has made this different for him or what.  He has had a very hard transition with this.  He just loved the Noah class so much!  He cries hard when I leave him now.  I am hoping this is just a phase and he will outgrow it soon.  It is hard to see him cry when I leave.

Ledger makes the best faces.  He is so animated and has such a fun personality.

He is still wearing 24 months clothes and size 5 diaper.  We went up to a size 6 shoe.

He loves to walk the stairs at the church building and is getting better and better at them.

He tells people "Hi" when they say "Hi" to him.

He hugs me and says "love you."  I melt.

He loves to give night night hugs and kisses.

He does not like for Lincoln to pick him up.  I feel really sorry for Lincoln sometimes because he just loves him so much and wants to love on him.  But Ledger is just in that independent stage right now I guess.

Ledger is just so fun!  His personality just brings a smile to my face!
