Texarkana Trip

The kids and I went to Texarkana for several days.  Usually we send the kids by themselves during the summer, but this summer has just been crazy with activities and working to get the house ready to sell.  I just couldn't find a good time and I really wanted to go too.  So, we left Kris at home to get some work done on the land and headed to visit Mimi and Pappaw.

Of course there was lots of side-by-side and four wheeler riding.

The weather was nice so there was playing outside.

I found these at Michael's one day and thought they would be a fun summer activity to do.

We divided them up and the kids had a paint ball fight.

It was definitely fun, but didn't last long enough!

Ledger wasn't too sure what he thought of the paint getting on his shirt.

The boys got to play in the water hose afterwards which they loved.

Reading books with Pappaw.

Mimi fed us an awesome "garden" meal which is one of my very favorites.  Most everything on the plate was home grown or home made.  Yummy!!

It is always great to be home!!!
