Outside the Walls 2018

On Sunday, the 4th, PV had Outside the Walls where the church went outside the walls to serve our community.  Our group went to a Little Rock (Mabelvale) Fire Station.  We brought them homemade cookies and notes of appreciation.

The guys there were super nice.  We got to check out the trucks.

They showed us a lot of their equipment.

The Jaws of Life.

We were kind of having a photo contest at church for the best photos from the day.  We told the fire fighters about this and they posed with us.   We ended up being one of the top voted photos.

We got to try on their gear.

And then at the end, Kris prayed over them.  It was a wonderful morning.  Sometimes we forget the sacrifice these men and women make for us each day so it was neat to stop and take a minute to appreciate them.

Later that night we had a fun cook-out at the White's with our church family.  I sure do love our church.
