I love Halloween treats!

Halloween treats are so fun to make! I found these 2 recipes on Taste of Home's website. I made them for our LIFE Group party at the Dyniewski's on Wednesday night.

Scary Eyeballs (Peanut Butter balls with a little Butterfinger mixed in)!

Strawberry Ghosts!

We had a great time at the party the other night. All the kiddos dressed up and most of the adults. I didn't because my other half wasn't feeling well and didn't go. There were some really awesome costumes though!

I would have taken more pictures, but I was too busy keeping up with Hannah and Lincoln. Here are the few that I got.

Most of the kids!

Jack and Linc. Aren't they adorable?

A Yummy, Sticky Treat!

The kids and I made "carmenal" apples the other day. I LOVE them and wanted Hannah and Lincoln to try them out and see what they thought.

That "carmenal" sure was good!
Just as I pulled the caramel off the stove to dip the apples, Lincoln decided he wanted to joke around and quickly touch the hot burner. Of course, he immediately realized that was not a very good idea and began to cry. He burned the tip of one of his fingers! Broke my heart! I felt so bad. Luckily it wasn't too bad and he quickly got busy with something else and forgot about it. Mommy did not, however. I realized that he is not quite old enough to be standing at the stove with me when I'm cooking.

Hannah was laughing so hard at me after I licked some of the caramel off the spoons that I decided we needed to take a picture of ourselves with our sticky mouths. Caramel is really messy!

Lincoln giving an apple a try.

Hannah mainly licked some of the caramel and that was about it. She said it was too hard to eat the apple.

Guess they didn't love them like their momma. That's okay cause they'll be more for me!

Pumpkin Patch Pictures!

We went to a Pumpkin Patch on Saturday for a birthday party! It was awesome! I took a lot of cute pictures!

They had some live animals there. Here is Hannah looking at a baby pig.

Emma and Hannah really know how to pose! I love this picture of them together!
My sweet kiddos!

I had to take these next few pictures. Lincoln had seen one of the big boys walking on this pipe. He thought he would do it too.
It was a little harder than he thought....

Family picture

We had the hardest time getting one of me and the kids. This one was the best one we got.
Going home with our pumpkins!

Parties, Parties, Parties

We went to 3 birthday parties this past weekend!!! They were all a lot of fun! I got lots of cute pictures and had to post them.

First, Saturday morning we went to Nathan's party at the Jump Zone. This is a really fun place! They have all these really big bouncy jumping things for the kids to play in. Many of them have slides. Even some of the adults really enjoyed these slides!

Next, we headed to a Pumpkin Patch for Jaden's birthday. It was really neat. Here are a few pictures from the party. I'll post the rest of the pictures in a separate post. There are too many!

They had some really cool treats! I had to take a picture!

Finally, Sunday afternoon we went to Trevor's party at War Memorial Stadium. It was so cool! The kids were told to wear either their favorite sports jersey/shirt or cheerleading uniform. They got to just run around all over the field and have a blast!

Emma, Hannah, & Kenzie

Hannah found one of the boys' helmets and wore it for the longest time!

Sweet friends!

Birthday boy, Trevor! Thanks for inviting Hannah to your party!

What a fun, (but exhausting) day! I'm so glad Hannah has so many sweet friends!

Lincoln is 21 months!

Another month down. It seems like I just did the 20 month post. Time is flying by. Here are a few things happening with Lincoln right now:

**Lincoln has developed a slight fear of men--some men. Certain men scare him. He starts crying and trying to get as far away from them as he can or hug up to me as close as he can. He'll hide his face. I guess it is just a little phase he's going through, but it is really sad sometimes!

**Still seems to like going to Bible class and is easily dropped off when I go to bible studies and things. I know this could change at any moment, so I'm enjoying it right now.

**Is really into picking on his sister right now--yes, even at this age it is already starting! Although sometimes they are really sweet together. Here Hannah found his monkey harness, put it on him (backwards), and was leading him around the house. Amazingly, he let her.

I found them like this the other day.

**Absolute favorite word is "NO". He says it all the time! Hannah is always telling us, "He's saying no all the time." We tell her, "Hannah, guess what??? You used to do the same thing." Again, I think this is another phase he is going through. Hopefully, we'll get through it soon. I just wish Hannah wouldn't call so much attention to it. I try to tell her to ignore it, but it isn't working so far. He'll say it more when he knows it is bothering her. Little booger!

**Lincoln is sleeping well these days! Yippee! Goes to bed around 8:00 p.m. and usually wakes up between 6:15 and 7:00 a.m.

**Is throwing little fits occasionally when something doesn't go his way. Wonder where he gets this from??? He is not as bad as his sister though and can usually pretty easily be redirected to something else.

**Still learning new words all the time. We are really working on saying "please" and "thank you." We are kind of starting to work on learning his colors. He tries to figure out what color something is and will point and say, "wel whoa" for yellow or "red" or "pa pul" or "boo". Isn't getting it quite right yet, but we are trying. We are also working on counting to three.

**Likes to try to sing. He gets tickled at himself though and starts laughing.
Here are just some pictures taken lately.
