Hannah went to the Rheumatologist last week for a check-up. She is doing so great! Praise God!!! Again, she had no signs of any swelling or inflammation! The doctor told me that if she continues like this until next summer, she will start tapering her off the medicine! That is what we want! It definitely gives us something to look forward to and pray hard for! She did say that there is a 50% chance that once we taper off the meds the arthritis could come back. At this point, we feel like it is a chance worth taking for her to not have to take medicine all the time. We will just keep praying for continued good health! God is good!
We also went to the eye doctor in the last week. She has to go every 3-4 months because of the high risk of having inflammation in the eyes. Everything looked great here too! She does so well at these appointments. I got to take some pictures this time because Kris was able to go with us. This first picture looks like she was wincing, but she wasn't. I think I just took the picture at the wrong moment.
We are gearing up for the Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell Walk/Run in December! Hannah was actually asked to be the Honoree this year! We are excited about that! So, look for much more information about the Walk really soon!!!

That's great news Jamie! I'm so glad that Hannah is doing so well. I look forward to doing the Jingle Bell Run again this year.
