Trip to Memphis

Last weekend we took a little trip to Memphis to visit the Blands. On our way, we stopped at the Children's Museum there in Memphis. It was pretty cool. There were lots of hands on things for the kids to do like learn about going to the dentist. Too bad we didn't come here before Hannah had her first dentist appointment a couple of weeks ago!

Hannah learning about bees!

The little Kroger grocery store was their favorite part I think. Here they are getting a little meat.

Lincoln really got into this!

Deciding which cereal to get.

She had to have some wipes for her baby.

Checking out.

They got to ring up their own groceries.

When we got to the Blands house, we went for a little swim and celebrated Benson's 2nd birthday! Here's the birthday boy...

and his precious baby sister.

The kids LOVED holding Sloane. In fact the night before we left I was telling Lincoln who we were going to see the next day, Nay Nay, Jennifer, Benson, and Sloane, and he said, "I hold it??!!" So, he got to hold it. I put her in his lap and he couldn't see her face, so he proceeded to pretty much pick her up and move her over so he could see her face. So cute.

He had to examine her toes/feet. Think he'll be a foot man?? LOL!

Benson with his birthday cake with Linc looking on.

Hannah had to hold "Bens" too. This is her name for him.

Love these two little girls!!

The kids had a blast swimming--they also enjoyed playing with cups.

Lincoln had absolutely NO fear of the water which was quite scary. Here he is jumping to his daddy. One time he decided he would just jump in at the deep end with no one down there. Luckily he had on one of those swimsuits with the built-in life jacket. He popped up out of the water and by that time Kris had gotten to him. Freaked me out!

Hannah liked jumping in too, but she really enjoyed just floating around on this thing.

BJ spraying the kids.

Fun, fun times! Glad we got to help Benson celebrate and see our friends!
