Baby Blessing

A couple of weekends ago, we had the annual Baby Blessing at church. There were about 22 babies born in 2010 and our Layton was one of them. We always take a picture of all the babies a few weeks before. It is an interesting event trying to get all the babies to take a picture. You have babies of varying ages and mobility!

Mimi and Pappaw came up for the weekend. Uncle Jeff was there too.

The service that evening was mostly about the babies. There was a cute video shown with pictures of each baby. Afterwards, the nursery staff gave us the sweetest tote bag with Layton's name on it, a bible, and a framed picture of all the babies. There was also a nice reception. It was a special night!
