Ledger at 23 months

Wow!  We are just about to 2!  I can't believe it.

I haven't been very good about writing things down this month, so I don't have a ton of details.

He is just getting bigger, talking more, and trying more things.

He still loves to read books.  We have our routine for nap time and bed time.  We read several books, I sing "Jesus Loves Me" and "Kum Ba Ya" and put him down in his bed.  He is really good to just go to sleep on his own.

He still loves bath time and says he is "swimming" and gets on his belly and pretends to swim.

We got a big wagon at a garage sale and he LOVES to ride around the neighborhood in it.  He says "wagon" and begs me to take him "ouside."

He is a pretty good eater.  He tends to go for vegetables before the meat on his plate.  He likes most any vegetable and fruit.  He is hit or miss on meat and sometimes doesn't want to eat his Chickfila nuggets.  Gasp!  He can use a spoon and fork well.

Lincoln just loves to be right in his face because he just loves him so much.  This gets on Ledger's nerves and he tells Lincoln to get away.  I feel sorry for Linc sometimes.  Lincoln loves to ask Ledger if he loves him.  Sometimes he says yes, but most of the time he says "no."  Ledger can be a stinker that way sometimes.  He and Layton play with his big toys quite a bit in the house.  He likes to push him in the little wagon and listen to him squeal.  Hannah is a great babysitter and takes really good care of him.  She can also read to him and put him to sleep really well too.  He is so blessed to have siblings that adore him.

He is mostly wearing 24 months to 2T clothes and size 6 shoes.  He is still in size 5 diapers.  He is pretty good at being aware of when he is pooping.  We talk about the potty quite a bit, but he is not ready to sit on it consistently.  He has a mouthful of teeth--so much so that it is hard to tell when he gets a new one.

I love to hear him talk.  He is saying all kinds of things.

He still loves to play with cars, tractors, his Little People barn, puzzles, Legos, and is really into big trucks right now especially any kind of construction truck.

He just fills our lives with so much fun, smiles, and pure joy!  What an amazing blessing he is to our family!!!
