Grandma and Grandad's

Labor Day weekend we went to visit Grandma and Grandad.  It had been since the end of May since we had seen them, so we were excited!  We made it there about midnight that Friday night because we had to wait to leave until Hannah got out of school.  But Saturday morning the kids were up and raring to go!  Cousin Harley came over and she and Hannah picked right back up where they left off the last time they saw each other.  Here they all are getting popsicles from Grandma.
Layton LOVES popsicles.
We brought our stepping stone molds and stencils and decided to make some stepping stones for Grandma.

Sweet girls!
Aunt Alexis brought over a huge pinata and the entire family had a blast trying to break that thing open.  It took forever and everyone took a turn.
We all stood around and watched for quite a while.  It was some kind of entertainment, let me tell ya. :)

Uncle Les taking his turn.
Even Grandad...
and Grandma took their turns!

There was so much candy in that thing.
There were even a few toys.
Then, Aunt Mona showed up and she had another smaller Dora pinata.  She didn't know that Alexis had brought one too.  It was funny!  Layton had a go at this one.  It was more his size.  We still have candy from all the pinata breaking we did.  We may have to recycle it for Halloween!  Ha!
A little bit later, Hannah and Harley got to open their birthday presents from Grandma and Grandad.  Harley's birthday is in September and Hannah's is October 8th.  Hannah is one year older than Harley.
It was kind of cool to see Hannah reading her birthday card this year all by herself!
They each got one of these great big pillows.  She was excited about it because she said she could sit and read with it.

Grandma also got them some silly string.  That stuff is crazy.  It took them a minute to figure out how to work it.
Once they figured it out, they just giggled and giggled squirting each other and Uncle Kurt.

While we were there, Hannah pulled her other front tooth--by herself!  That makes 4 lost teeth all together so far.  I absolutely love her smile with that tooth gone!! (Her first front tooth is already mostly grown back in.)

It was great to be with family and especially nice to have an extra day due to the holiday weekend.  We always enjoy our time at Grandma and Grandad's!
