Field Day

Towards the end of school the kids had their Field Day.  Layton and I went to share in the fun.  They had all kinds of fun stuff going on.

There was a bounce house,...

the playground of course...(Lincoln really loved this because he got to play on the 1st and 2nd grade playground instead of the kindergarten one.)

snow cones and cotton candy,...

a big sandbox,...(They had a big load of dirt brought in for all the kids along with all kinds of sand toys to play with.  It was a huge hit with all the kids!)

music,...(Here they are doing the YMCA moves.)

and a remote control police car showed up.

This was all just in the morning hours.  For lunch I went with Lincoln and his class back to their classroom to have their lunch.  At this point, Lincoln's teacher had gotten over heated outside and ended up having to go to the ER as a precaution.  So, another mom and I stayed the rest of the afternoon with the class.  We finished up lunch and then helped all the kids make get well cards for Mrs. Beck.

Lincoln's class played outside some more and Hannah's class watched a movie with popcorn in the gym.  Then, they all went outside to be sprayed with the fireman's big water hose.  Poor Lincoln.  His class didn't get to do this because his sweet teacher was afraid they would get hurt.  Hannah loved it though!

It was a very fun Field Day!!!
