Upward Flag Football

Layton's friend, Connor, was playing Upward Flag Football this year and asked if Layton wanted to do it.  He said yes, and then Lincoln decided he wanted to give it a try too.  Collin was coaching Layton and Connor's team and so Kris agreed to be the assistant coach.  They had their first game on the 9th.

Layton running out as his name was called.

Lincoln didn't know anyone on his team.  He had a pretty good team.  His coach was very competitive and really got into it.  I haven't decided if this was a good thing or a bad thing.  Ha!

Layton pulling a flag.

Now he is carrying the ball.

There he goes!

It was a touchdown!!!!

He is a speedy little thing.  He was our offensive player.

Kris ended up being the main coach on the field.  He did a great job.

I love this picture.  #13 with the ball is Parker who I taught in preschool and who was in Layton's class at First Southern.

Connor with the ball!

#2 is another little boy, Drew, that I taught in preschool and who was in Layton's preschool class.

Lincoln was really good at defense.  He was a hustler.  I loved watching him yank those flags.

The boys both thoroughly enjoyed playing this season.  I think we will see them do it again!
