Our Layton turned 8 on June 21st! He is getting so big. I used to call him my baby, but he just isn't a baby anymore.
A friend of ours gave us a four wheeler that his kids weren't using anymore. It had just been sitting out in the weather and needed a good tune up. So, we surprised Layton with it. His reaction was priceless. He was totally not expecting it.
I love when the smile kicked in.
So, yes it has a pink seat and pink stickers, but we can easily remedy that and will. He can hardly wait to ride it at the land!!!
We went to eat doughnuts for breakfast the morning of his birthday.
This guy is full of energy. He is always on the go.
He love LOVES to help his daddy with anything especially outdoors. He always wants to go when Kris goes to the land. I have a feeling he is going to be so handy one day when he is older because he has watched and learned so much from his dad--much like his dad did with his own dad.
He is a tiny little thing but scrappy and very quick. He loves basketball, soccer, and flag football.
He loves to fix his hair and wants it just so. He doesn't care if he matches his clothes or not and you almost always see him with a shoe or shoes untied. Always.
He likes video games and is not a big fan of reading.
He loves to snack on fruit, especially nectarines and apples.
He is very quiet around people he doesn't know.
He does well in school and is well-liked by his peers.
He can be super sweet most of the time, but has a little temper too.
He is the middle boy so he gets picked on by Lincoln and then does his share of picking on Ledger, but deep down they all love each other so much (even with all the fighting).
He loves to help in the kitchen especially with making breakfast.
His favorite toys are cars, balls, and his Kindle.
We love you SO much Layton Ean and we are so proud of you!!!! Happy 8th Birthday Buddy!!!
