We had to bump Ledger's birthday party back a week because Layton got sick. So, we didn't have it until the 20th. I went with a farm theme and decided to use the colors red, turquise, black, and white. I made several cakes. The first one was the smash cake for his pictures.

My friend, Stacey, had made these cute little royal icing toppers and gave them to me to put on top of some cupcakes. They were perfect!

We grilled burgers and hotdogs and had baked beans and chips.
Then, we sang Happy Birthday!
And he got to dig in. He kept saying "Ummmm."
Then, it was present time!
He got a swing for the back yard from Uncle Jeff.
He got a couple of books from friends.
Lorelei painted him a card.
We got him a new bible, some blocks, and a riding/walking toy.
Mimi and Pappaw got him a little red wagon to push and pull.

Later that evening we went to McAlister's to eat. He took his book with him because he loved it so much!
He had a great first birthday! We are grateful to our friends and family for celebrating it with us! Love this sweet boy so much!!
