Trip to Texarkana

It is always so good to go home.  I wish we got to go more often.

Jimmy gave Kris an old trailer and so we brought it home with us so we would have a place to store it until we get on our land.  It needed an overhaul and so Kris, Dad, and Layton worked on it all weekend.

I can't say enough about this little guy.  He is such a helper.  He loves to be with his dad and Pappaw and do whatever they are doing.  It just makes my heart so happy.  I hope he is soaking it all up especially all the knowledge that he is seeing/experiencing.  That is how kids learn.  I can totally see him being like them when he is older--able to do/fix just about anything.

They cleaned first.

Then, fixed a few things and replaced all the boards.

They even had to do some welding.

They painted it.

He is not dead.  He is changing out the light.  Ha!

I think there are a couple of little things left to do, but it is pretty much done.  It looks so much better and is actually usable now!  We are thankful to Jimmy for this gift.  I know Kris will get lots of use out of it one day really soon!

Meanwhile, Lincoln and Ledger had fun riding the side-by-side.  Look at that face!  (Hannah wasn't here on this trip.  She was in Nashville at Jr. Impact.)

Wheeeee!!!!

Ledger was showing Pappaw how to fist bump.

We had a great weekend and look forward to our next trip!
