The boys had their Fall Fun Run today. I like to go watch them if I can. It was a cold windy day, so I made sure to bundle Ledger up well. I love his corduroy coat and the hat that covers his ears. Our friend, Collin, says he looks like a Peanuts character. Ha! He loved getting to run around on the field.
Like always, they run one lap around the field. Layton came in the top 5. He is so quick.
Lincoln takes his time. He doesn't care as much about winning. His favorite thing is eating all the snacks they have after they run. LOL!
Their principal, Mr. Scarlett, calls this the easiest fundraiser in the world. The kids ask people to sponsor them/donate money. They do two of these a year. This is how the school raises the money it needs to provide school supplies for all the kids for the next year. Not having to buy school supplies is HUGE!
