New Year's Eve and Amy's Birthday

We got home from Texarkana Sunday afternoon and decided kind of last minute to invite some of our Life Group over to ring in the New Year.  The Cheesmans, Stephens, and Sara were able to come.  We all ate our own fast food and then played the game that we played at the Keims' at Christmas that we loved so much--Empire.  It was fun!!!  Then, the Stephens had to leave.  The rest of us stayed up until 2:30 a.m.  As you can see, we got kind of silly!!

The little kids stayed in the living room to watch a movie once it got late.  A few made it to midnight, but they all eventually fell asleep.  I didn't get a picture of Hannah, Lincoln, Braden, and Katelynn.  They were back in Hannah's room playing the whole time.  It was such a fun night ringing in the new year with our besties!!!

On Saturday we met everyone at Chuy's for lunch to celebrate Stacey's, Katelynn's, and Amy's birthdays.  It was Amy's 40th, so I made her a fun little present.  I got her 40 gifts each with a fun little saying to go with it.  She is a special friend, so I had to do something special!

Lorelei made her this fabulous crown.  I am SO thankful for this girl and our friendship!
