Ledger and I were invited by some new friends to a Toddler Story Time called Little Beginnings at the Old State House Museum downtown.
There was a cute little room all decorated where it took place.
The theme had to do with winter so there was a felt snowman on the wall to decorate and they read a story about winter as well.
They did a little craft. Ledger had never used a glue stick before, and he loved it!
Then, they were supposed to dip their fingers in white paint and paint snow on their picture. However, he wasn't sure about that, so he used a paint brush instead.
We need to do more of this kind of thing because he really liked it!
Then, they played a game where they threw bean bags and knocked down the snow. He was so cute trying to hit the little cups.
At the end, they brought in a nice, big train table and the kids played around it for awhile while the mommas talked. I can't believe that I didn't get any pictures of his new little friend, Luke. We go to church together and they are just a few weeks apart. I am hoping we can do some more things with he and his mom, Jennifer. She just had their second baby, so it may be a bit, but I think we will!
