Hannah is 14!!!

Our Hannah turned 14 on the 8th.  SO hard to believe.  We decided to just do a family party this year and maybe a big bonfire party next year when we are actually living at our new house.  She wanted strawberry cupcakes with white icing--her favorite.  So that is what she got.

She is so excited to start studying for her learner's permit!!

Her actual birthday was on a Monday.

So, I took her lunch.  Her friends sang Happy Birthday to her in the cafeteria.

Fourteen, Hannah.  How is it possible?  You've had a tough couple of months changing schools, but you are strong.  That is one thing you need to know about yourself.  You are a strong young lady.  You are a good friend and I know once you establish some friends at CAC, things will be great.  You are doing well playing the guitar I think.  You don't play for us much, but you seem to have picked it up easily and enjoy coming up with new songs to play.  You sure do love music.  You are always singing and playing music.  I think you know the words to just about every song and it seems to me that you are able to sing a song after only hearing it a few times.  You learn them quick.  You are smart and are doing well in school as far as grades.  You like to run and running cross country and track seemed to be something you really enjoyed at Bryant.  It was super disappointing to find out that you couldn't participate in them at CAC this year because you transferred.  Hopefully, you will jump back into them when you have the opportunity.

A few other things about you at this age:

**You keep the messiest room.  Like can't even see the floor messy.
**You love sweets.
**You love to read and can devour books.
**You sleep on the top of your bedspread I guess so you don't have to make your bed in the mornings.  At least that is what you told me.
**You love to make your own face masks and have made some very interesting ones.
**You love to watch make-up and hair tutorials.
**Your friends ask if you will do their hair because you are so good at it.
**You love being in the teen class at church and have especially loved being able to attend the early Thursday morning girls bible study at the building before school.
**You've got the eye roll down pat.  Ha!
**You are a great babysitter and I know Ledger is in good hands with you!
**You seem to like working with kids and have even mentioned possibly being a teacher one day.
**You are very picky when it comes to clothes and tend to wear the same things over and over.  I guess it is a good thing you wear a uniform to school now.
**You love Starbucks.

Your dad and I love you more than words can express.  We are proud of the young lady you are becoming and our biggest prayer for you is that you will love the Lord with your whole heart. Happy 14 Birthday our sweet Hannah!
