Layton's class went down the street to the Fire Station for a tour. They got to go in the trucks.
They got to see them extend the big ladder on the ladder truck.
They watched a fireman climb to the top.
It looks like he is by the moon.
They even got to go up into the rooms where they sleep. It was a neat tour which gave the kids a little glimpse into what it is like to be a fire fighter. This station gets used a lot because of its location. We may not be able to quite imagine the life of a fire fighter, but we sure can be thankful for them. I love that Layton's school got to do this.
