Visit to KC

Memorial Day weekend we went to KC.  Isabel came and spent the night too.  The girls always have so much fun together.  Grandad has chickens again so they went to go check them out.  They were trying to name them.

Hannah and Layton trying to pick some apples.  Don't think there were many or they weren't ready yet.

One night we went fishing at Grandad's pond.  We were trying to catch some to take over to Uncle Les' pond on his property.

The kids had a blast!

Pretty much everyone caught something.

The highlight for me was watching the men (Les and Kris) get their boots stuck in the mud trying to fill the bucket up with water.  They REALLY got stuck!

At one point Les had to come out of one of his boots to try to pull the boot out of the mud.  He lost his balance and his socked foot went into the mud and he was having to try really hard to keep his whole body from falling into it.  We were all laughing so hard!!

Carol and Lindsey watched from a distance for a while.

Kris was trying to get Lincoln to hold the fish himself.  Love Hannah's face in these next few.

I think Lindsey may have gotten her hook stuck in a tree.  Ha!

She decided to give it a go but wasn't quite sure about holding the fish herself.

Sweet boy.

This fish wanted out.

At some point, Layton and I started taking selfies.  Ha!  He is my buddy.

At one point we had been in the house and someone looked out the kitchen window and found this tree had fallen down on top of a fence.  It was crazy because the guys had just been outside and it wasn't like this and no one heard it fall.  So, the Keim men broke out the chainsaws (think they might have been a little excited) and got to work.

3 Keims, 3 chainsaws.  They LOVE chainsaws.

Of course, Layton had to have a tractor ride from Grandad while we were there.

One night the girls wanted Aunt Carol to rag their hair.  Aren't they so cute?

They had some curly hair the next day.  They love each other so much!
