Just a little more July

I feel like July just flew by.  Lincoln was busy with Barracudas swim team again.  I love his pictures!

We had lots of days where we just hung out.

We made lots of trips out to see the land.

Lincoln and Layton went to Jackson's birthday party at the Benton Center pool.  We had never been and it was really cool!

Ledger had lots of books read to him since that is his most favorite thing.

Love this!!

We went to the pool some.  I didn't take many pictures this year because my hands were full with this guy.

Kris and the boys all went with the Cheesman's one night to play putt-putt at this park in Benton that had recently been redone.

It was super hot, so snow cones were in order.

Our Life Group enjoyed hosting the Guilds, one of PV's missionary families, who were in town on furlough.  They work in Tanzania, and we always enjoy catching up with them every few years.

Ledger is really into reading "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" right now and will run and bring the book to Kris for him to read it when he gets home.  Kris is great at doing voices. I got a really cute video of him reading to him.

Layton bought himself a fish and little fish tank and wanted to eat breakfast with it one morning.  Ha!

We bought cheap Wild River Country passes that we could use once this summer as did a bunch of our friends, so we picked a day and did that.  I was so glad Ledger and I got to go this year.  It was a really fun day!!

I hate that we missed Sara in this picture.  She had just left to take Joseph to a practice.  These girls are all my very best friends and I love them dearly!!!

Ledger had a blast that morning, but after lunch he conked out for a bit.

I love sweet snuggles with him while he sleeps.  He is so precious.

We are working on using a fork.  He loves meal time!

More book reading!!

Ledger got another haircut.  This one he didn't really care for as much for some reason.  He has a sad face.

We went to Rock Creek with the Cheesman's one day.  This was Ledger's first time.

Dunkin' Donuts one morning!

This was Ledger playing in all the piles of camp laundry.  Camp laundry is absolutely disgusting, by the way!!!

Flexin' Friday!

I got these two pictures of the kids' trip to Silver Dollar City with the City Life Tweens.  They had a blast!

Layton's End of Season Baseball Party

Kris, Hannah, and Lincoln went to Silver Dollar City with the Tweens yesterday, so I took Layton and Ledger to Layton's baseball team end of the season party.  It was at one of the player's grandparents' pool.

Layton had a blast at the party with all his teammates.

They were about to get their trophies!

He was so excited!  He had a good year.  He is a good little player, but we haven't figured out if he really likes it enough to continue playing.  So, we will have to see.  This season was tough because there was quite a bit of parental drama which was absolutely ridiculous.  Some people don't know how to keep their mouths closed.  Ugh!

Go Angels one last time!!

Camp Tahkodah 2017

Before we knew it, it was Camp Tahkodah time again!  This was Hannah's 5th year and Lincoln's 3rd.

Waiting for the gate to open!

Hannah was definitely excited about camp this year.  Her buddies Kenzie and Emma were both going to be there.  I love that they do this together each year.  I especially love that she and Emma can pick right back up with each other even though they haven't seen each other in a year.  I love that about Emma's mom and dad as well.  They now live in Dallas, but it is always so easy to catch back up with them!

Here come the counselors!  The campers always race to their bunks once the gate opens.

Lincoln was excited for camp this year, but definitely not as excited as in the past.  One of his buddies didn't go back this year and his other one chose to go to a different session.  It was quite upsetting to Linc, but I was proud of him for going anyway.

The two that were left behind.  It won't be long until we are leaving 3 kids!!

Saying good-bye!

Amanda and I.  I loved getting to catch up with she and Justin.

I'm sure he is thinking "Really, Mom?  The stroller--again?!"  He is so so good.

Lincoln waiting on his turn to do the swim test.  We don't wait around for Hannah's anymore.  It takes too long and she doesn't care for us to stay.

Saying good-bye!

While all that was going on, Layton is over at the Gaga ball pit having a blast!  I think he will have so much fun at camp, but it is hard for me to imagine him gone for a whole week!

Finally, it was Friday and time to go pick them up.  Reunited!!!

Lincoln with his counselor.

Hannah with hers.

They had a great week!  I LOVE that they love camp so much!!!!
