Mr. Cowboy was playin' right in the thick of things.
Hannah just loves to play in her sandbox. She was using the measuring spoons and very carefully filling her bucket. She did this for quite a while.
More workin'.
More workin'.
I included this pic because I just thought it was cute. We had decided we would put the kids hand prints with the date and everything on this little spot of concrete Kris poured. However, it was a little too wet at the time and we ended up going back over it. We'll be pouring more concrete and decided to just wait until then to do their prints.
Shovelin' rocks.
Still playin' in the sandbox!
Sweetness!
Fixing around the play area to try to keep the rocks in better. The kids like to watch rocks fly down the slide. They have been ending up in the yard instead of the play area. This was Kris' attempting to fix the problem.
The big project of the day was workin' EXTREMELY hard to dig about a 100 foot ditch. Kris laid the pipe in it to try to get the water to drain better on that side of the house.
Lincoln was helping of course.
He kept running into tree roots that he had to use the chain saw to cut.
He got it done though. He was very tired and very sore from all the digging. He ended up pouring another concrete pad that day about the same size as the other one for our trash can to sit on around the side of the house. Kris can so do anything he puts his mind to and I know I've said it before, but I just love that about him! He is a hard worker at everything he does and he makes me so proud!
