April 1st our church had an Easter picnic at Burns Park after morning services. It was so so much fun! I am so glad we got to go. They haven't done anything like this in the past, so it was a real treat. They started things off with lunch of hotdogs, hamburgers, and all the fixings. The hamburgers were delicious! The Easter Bunny showed up while we were eating. Hannah wasn't around at the time, but Lincoln had his picture made with him.
Layton was not so sure. He kept his distance :-)They had so much fun stuff to do with the kids. They had a little petting zoo.
There were horse and llama rides. This was awesome for the kids!!
The kids got their faces painted.
Then, they played on the jungle gym for a while before the Easter egg hunt began.
I think they said there were around 200 kids and 2,500 eggs. This was everyone getting ready to hunt. They let the 3 and under kids go first, which I was thankful for. It was going to be hard to try to get pictures of all three kids at once.
Layton got right into it.
Lincoln and Hannah were so fast, I had a hard time keeping up with them.
They also had cookie decorating and a professional photographer with live bunnies. We didn't get around to doing those things, but we sure had a blast at everything else!!! So thankful for everyone that made this day possible!!!
