50th Anniversary Weekend Part 3 of 3

After all the celebrating, we just hung out at Grandma and Grandad's until Monday morning. The kids love being around their cousins. Hannah has learned to braid, so she was practicing on Lindsey's hair.

For their anniversary gift, Kris made his parents this Harding swing. He worked really hard on it. It was interesting getting it to them. We had to borrow a friend's trailer. Luckily we had a vehicle to pull it. A few weeks before someone ran into Kris and a friend from work in Kris' car. It was totaled. So, he now has a used Suburban. It is great!! I wish I had taken a picture of us pulling the trailer with the swing on it. It was quite a sight. Anyway, here is Kris and his brother, Les, being silly. I guess there is no question where Lincoln gets it from!!! Ha!

I think Grandma liked her swing. They put it in the front yard. I think it will be a great place to go and sit and relax. Did I mention that I am getting one of these swings too? Yep, Kris is making me one too! Yay!

We had a great weekend celebrating with Grandma and Grandad and just being with family. Congratulations again on 50 years of marriage! You guys are such an inspiration to Kris and I. We love you!
