Today Carrie, Leanne, and I had our Annual Christmas Cookie Decorating Party with the kids. Leanne has a great recipe for the cookies and she made all of them for us ahead of time along with the icing. So, we just mixed up the colors when we got there and the kids got started.
We discovered that our icing was a little too stiff (but thicker/better than last years!) so we ended up watering it down a bit so the kids could spread it easier. Lincoln worked hard at his--for a few minutes.
Hannah had a wonderful time decorating her cookies this year. She really got into it and did a great job!
Of course they all loved the sprinkles.
Carrie and Jack decorating their cookie.
Eden & Leanne. I think Eden enjoyed eating hers as much as decorating them!
Don't you love those blue teeth!
So sweet!
Jack was the cutest thing with his little tongue hanging out. He was working hard.
All smiles!
He was done with the decorating here. He would have eaten his plate clean if I hadn't stopped him.
I'm not even sure Hannah even tried one because she was so busy.
Most of my cookies on the cookie sheet (Yes us moms decorated too!) and Linc's on the table.
Hannah's cookies. Hers were so good!
The messy table when we were about done.
What fun! It gets better every year!
