We are farmers.

Yes, we are farmers. As of a couple of weekends ago when we went to visit Kris' parents in Odessa, we upped our cow inventory from 5 cows to 11 cows and 3 calves. Kris and his dad went to a cattle auction to get them. This is apparently fun stuff! Thankfully, Kris' dad takes care of our cows at their house, so it is kind of a nice deal for us. Thanks Lyle!

While we were there, Kris finally decided to use the turkey fryer that I got him for Christmas last year and fry a turkey! I thought these pictures of he and his dad were hilarious!

I have to admit. The turkey was yummy!

Grandma has kept many of the old toys that they had and she will bring them out when they kids are there for them to play with. Here is Linc playing with some really old farm animals and things. He was really cute making all the animal sounds.

Grandma also had a lot of old scarfs that she let Hannah play with.

Grandma enjoys reading to the kids before naptime. They are very good listeners.

It is always fun to go to Grandma and Grandad's house--for the kids AND for Kris cause he gets to be a farmer for a weekend. :) (Oh, and it is fun for me too. I especially enjoy all the good food Grandma makes while we are there!)
