Announcement Pics

We finally made it up to see Grandma and Grandad to tell them about the baby the first weekend of November!  I don't have pics of their reactions.  I wish I did, but we always get there super late (midnight) and I was just not on top of my game.  We decided that the kids would wear their shirts and I made myself one that had a number 4 on the belly.  So, when we walked in that night, Les was there and he noticed first.  Then, Grandma and Grandad got it and just laughed.  Pretty sure they had no idea that was coming.

Since both sets of grandparents knew now, we could announce it to the world.  The only other people that knew besides our families were our Life Group.  We had told them the week before.  We didn't want them to find out on Facebook!  They were sworn to secrecy!  I also told my friend, Jill, and my coworkers as well.

I had seen a similar idea on Pinterest and so we found the perfect place in front of one of the wooden buildings in Grandad's pasture to take the picture.  The kids had fun trying on different reactions.

This was the one we finally went with and posted to Facebook.

As we were walking back to the house, Lyle makes a comment about the sign on the barn door.  Well, that did it for Kris.  He INSISTED we take a picture in front of it.

Then, he went crazy with his faces.  He thought he was so funny!!!

He also insisted I post this one on Facebook too.
