Halloween 2015

We went to a couple of different Halloween events this year.  First, the kids had a Fall Carnival at school.  They dressed up and all the teachers had booths set up with games for the kids to play.

I tried to get into the Halloween spirit by making the kids special Halloween food.  Crescent roll witches hats filled with chocolate chips (Lincoln loves these), Jack-o-lantern oranges, and mummy dogs.

Mummy pizzas.

And meringue ghosts.

We went to the church's annual Kiddie Karnival.  This year we had a boxer, a race car driver, and a groovy girl.

Lincoln watched a couple of the Rocky movies a while back and ever since all he talked about was wanting to be Rocky for Halloween.  I couldn't really find a Rocky costume, so we just went with a generic boxer.  He was happy especially since he got real boxing gloves out of the deal.

I got him a mouth guard and he loved it!!!

Layton loves cars and monster trucks so his race car driver costume was perfect for him.

Originally Hannah wanted to be an American Girl, but finally picked this costume out.  To me, it suited her well.

Her daddy let her pick out the accessories---the glasses and earrings.  Right up her alley!

Two Hannahs.

Hannah, Kenzie, and Hannah

Layton and Conner.

Trunk or Treat.  There were some really great trunks!

The Tweens are responsible for hosting the Kiddie Karnival each year.  Hannah was so excited to get to help.  She chose to do face painting and thoroughly enjoyed it!!!  Again, right up her alley.

Lincoln and Layton got to go around and play all the games.

Braden had a cool costume!

Jack and Linc.

The boys went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood on Halloween night.  Hannah went to trick-or-treat with her friend Madison in her neighborhood.  We always go see Ms. Nita next door.  She and all the other widow ladies around us have special goodies for our kids.  I love that.

Another fun Halloween is in the books!
